Embark on an unforgettable snow trip to Mustang this year as the region welcomes its first snowfall of the season starting Monday morning. Ram Prasad Suvedi, Assistant Chief District Officer of Baglung, shared that snow has blanketed all areas around Jomsom since Monday.
Despite the challenges posed by the snowfall, offices remain operational, and transportation services continue to run seamlessly. While daily life may be affected, farmers are said to be joyous. The extended period without rainfall had created difficulties for farmers in cultivating their fields.
Indraman Gauchan, a local resident, highlighted the benefits of the water received during this season for the crops. He emphasized that despite potential weather changes in the future, the current snowfall has not presented significant problems.
Gauchan expressed, “This year marks the first snowfall. The situation has remained constant until now. Snow at this time is highly beneficial for the crops, considering the prolonged period of dryness they endured without water.”
