Strengthening Media Collaboration for Tourism Growth
Kathmandu – Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association Nepal (HASMAN) has officially announced Tourshala Media as its official media partner to support the growth of Nepal’s hospitality and tourism industry.
Under the leadership of HASMAN President Robinson Maharjan, the association has recognized the contributions of Tourshala’s Chief Editor, Rajendra Bhatta (Raju Jhallu Prasad), in tourism journalism and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening this partnership, which has been in place since 2023.
“Tourshala is an emerging and dynamic media platform covering tourism, environment, history, culture, archaeology, agriculture, and climate change. Its efforts in raising awareness about cybersecurity, eco-tourism, and ethical food practices in rural communities are commendable,” said HASMAN General Secretary Deepak Pokhrel.
HASMAN: A Strong Network in Hospitality
HASMAN is a key organization supporting networking and collaboration among sales and marketing professionals in Nepal’s hospitality sector. The executive committee includes President Robinson Maharjan, Vice President Sanjeev Tuladhar, General Secretary Deepak Pokhrel, Secretary Laxmi Shrestha, and Treasurer Ganesh Budhathoki, among other experienced members. The association collaborates with five-star hotels and tourist-category accommodations across Nepal to promote the industry.
Tourshala’s Managing Director Prem Bastola expressed confidence that this partnership will provide media support for various hospitality and tourism-related programs, research, and promotional activities. “This collaboration will help elevate Nepal’s hospitality industry at both national and international levels, strengthening the country’s tourism sector,” he stated.
