Bara, Nepal : In a remarkable excavation venture at Sano Itwal, Simraungarh – 6, Bara, Nepal, an extraordinary find has come to light. On the 19th of Baisakh, 2081 B.S., a significant stone image of God Surya emerged from the depths of a private pond.
This discovery adds to a series of historic statues previously unearthed in the region, shedding light on the lost identity of the ancient Tirhut Empire.
Efforts to preserve and safeguard these invaluable artifacts are now paramount, underscoring the importance of proper measures to conserve the rich heritage of Nepal.
