Kathmandu, 26 August 2025 – Best Western Plus Kathmandu marked a significant milestone in its community engagement efforts by initiating its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity during the auspicious occasion of Haritalika Teej. The hotel provided free bottled water and refreshing juices to thousands of devotees visiting the revered Pashupatinath Temple.
Teej, a festival widely celebrated by women across Nepal, involves fasting, prayers, and cultural festivities. Recognizing the importance of the occasion, the hotel’s initiative aimed to ease the experience of devotees spending long hours in worship, reflecting its commitment to community welfare.

Umesh Shrestha for Best Western Plus Kathmandu said, “We dedicated this initiative to the Teej festival and the devotees visiting Pashupatinath Temple. Hospitality, for us, is not just about serving guests but also serving society. This is only the beginning, and we plan to continue supporting community-focused activities in the future.”
Strategically located near Pashupatinath Temple and Tribhuvan International Airport, Best Western Plus Kathmandu features 84 contemporary rooms and amenities including a swimming pool, spa, gym, and banquet halls. Beyond offering world-class facilities, the hotel emphasizes building meaningful connections with the local community.

With this first CSR project, Best Western Plus Kathmandu reinforces its vision of merging global standards with local traditions, ensuring that its presence in the city brings value not only to travellers but also to society at large.
