Bandipur, Nepal – As the countdown to New Year 2081 begins, the charming town of Bandipur is gearing up to welcome the new year with a culinary extravaganza like no other. Organized by the Bandipur Tourism Development Committee in collaboration with local stakeholders, the eagerly anticipated “Street Food Festival” is set to transform the town’s thoroughfares into a culinary wonderland from Chaitra 30 to Baishakh 2, 2081.
Under the theme of “Savor the Street, Explore the Street, Boost Tourism Near and Far,” the festival aims to highlight the diverse street food culture of the region alongside lively cultural performances. Kisan Pradhan, coordinator of the Bandipur Tourism Development Committee, expressed excitement for the event, anticipating the participation of an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 tourists.
Previous editions of the festival have drawn acclaim, establishing Bandipur as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and culture seekers. With the collaborative efforts of the Bandipur Tourism Development Committee, the Regional Hotel Association Bandipur Bazaar Unit, the Industry Commerce Association Bandipur Bazaar Unit, and other local cooperatives, this year’s festival promises to be a celebration of flavors, culture, and community spirit.
