Association to Host 1-Night, 2-Day Sales Retreat Program to Strengthen Industry Connections and Foster Innovation
Kathmandu—The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association is gearing up to celebrate its second anniversary in grand style. To commemorate this milestone, the association will host a 1-night, 2-day “Sales Retreat Program” in Chitlang on September 20, 2024.
As a leading umbrella organization for sales professionals across Nepal’s five-star to non-star hotels, the association has significantly contributed to the growth of the hotel industry and tourism promotion. Its members, who are integral to the Sales and Marketing departments, play a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s landscape.
The Programme primary aim is to unite representatives from hotel Sales and Marketing departments nationwide, fostering robust relationships, creating an energizing environment, and ensuring valuable networking. Deepak Pokhrel of the association, highlighted that the event is not only a celebratory gathering but also a platform to strengthen ties among industry entrepreneurs and creatives, enhancing their professional journeys.
The event is set to encourage collaboration in crafting and implementing effective marketing, public relations, and communication strategies. With a membership base exceeding 145, the association views this retreat as both a celebration of its achievements and a contribution to the advancement of Nepal’s tourism sector. Pokhrel anticipates that the event will become a crucial forum for fostering excellence and innovation within the dynamic tourism industry.
The management of the event will be overseen by key figures including Mr. Raj Kumar K.C. (Barahi Jungle Group), Mr. Deepak Pokhrel (Paradise Inn), Mr. Pradip Poudel (Yellow Pagoda), Mr. Sanjeev Tuladhar (KGH), Mr. Ramesh Pathak (Landmark Kathmandu), Mr. Rabinson Maharjan (Hotel Yak & Yeti), Ms. Laxmi Shrestha (Tiger Tops Pvt. Ltd), and Mr. Umesh Shrestha (Dhulikhel Mountain Resort).
This marks the second major event organized by the Sales and Marketing department group of Nepalese hotels, with future programs already in the planning stages, as noted by Pokhrel.
