Kathmandu: Kami Rita Sherpa, a renowned mountaineer known for his world-record climbs, achieved another remarkable feat on Tuesday morning when he successfully scaled Mount Manaslu at approximately 8 am.
This incredible accomplishment has now bestowed upon Sherpa the prestigious title of ‘Most Successful Ascent of 8000ers by an Individual.’ With this achievement, he continues to solidify his status as a climbing legend.
Hailing from TShame village in Solukhumbu, Sherpa serves as a senior guide for the Seven Summit Treks, showcasing his immense expertise in the field. His extraordinary climbing resume includes conquering iconic peaks like Mount Everest, which he has scaled an astonishing 28 times, setting a new world record in the process.
In addition to Everest, Sherpa has also triumphed over other formidable mountains such as K2, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and now Manaslu. His indomitable spirit and unparalleled mountaineering prowess continue to inspire adventurers and enthusiasts worldwide.
